Q. Who is building the homes in Ashland Park?

A. Currently TAG Ashland Park, Inc, an Illinois corporation formed by The Atkins Group in late 2006 is building the homes. The Atkins Group has developed much of Champaign-Urbana over the last twenty-five years. They have created Stone Creek Golf Course and Subdivision, Sawgrass subdivision and developed most of the popular North Prospect retail areas.

Over the course of the last few years, The Atkins Group has watched the price of homes skyrocket in Champaign-Urbana. It felt that no one was offering high-quality, single-family homes at a price people could afford. With that notion, Ashland Park subdivision was born.

Through extensive, on-going customer research, we have developed seven floor plans, loaded with standard features. Today, you can build a beautifully designed, open, bright and most importantly, affordable home to fit your lifestyle. A home that you will be proud to call your own!

Q. Do they provide a builder's warranty?

A. Yes, each home in Ashland Park is built by standards set forth by the Home Builders Association Industry Standards Manual. A comprehensive builder's warranty provides coverage for one year's time after closing. While the complete warranty can be viewed in the sales office at Ashland Park, the warranty process begins with a Pre-Closing Inspection. This is a time for you, the home buyer, to walk through your new home with a builder's representative. The Pre-Closing Inspection sheet will be completed at that time, and any items that may need adjustment will be noted and repaired or replaced. After that time you are welcome to contact our warranty service department if you need to schedule repair service.
